Website builder, freelancer or agency?

Website builder

Providers such as Wix or Jimdo usually cost €10 to €30 per month. In return, you create the copy, photos, structure and search engine optimization yourself. That works for a simple business card, but rarely for a website that ranks on page one for “bathroom renovation + town”.

Freelancer

Freelancers are often cheaper than agencies and can deliver good work. Check whether design, copy, Local SEO and technology are covered and who takes care of updates after launch.

Agency

An agency costs more, but delivers concept, copy, design, SEO and technology from one source. For businesses that want to use their website as a real sales channel, this is usually the fastest route.

Price range by scope

• One-pager: approx. €800 to €1,200. One page with services, references and contact. Good for founders and small businesses.
• Small website (up to 5 pages): approx. €1,500 to €2,500. Home page, services, references, about us and contact.

Enquiry on mobile

Many businesses could take on more jobs if they had more people. A careers page with real team photos often brings applicants who cannot be reached via job portals.

Costs in Austria and Switzerland

In Austria, prices are similar to Germany. Pay attention to Austrian terms such as “Installateur” or “Tischler” and to a legal notice with details of the trade licence. In Switzerland, agency prices are usually higher, and forms should be labelled “Offerte anfragen”. Our fixed prices apply in all three countries and are invoiced in euros.
