What a website in Austria needs to deliver today.

01

Austrian terms

Customers in Austria search for “Homepage erstellen lassen”, “Installateur” or “Ordination” – not the German-German equivalents. On your German site we use the terms actually searched in your federal state.

02

Local SEO in your federal state

Service pages with a local focus, an optimised Google Business Profile and consistent entries in Herold and the WKO company directory – so you are found in your region, whether in Graz, Linz or Klagenfurt.

03

Made for small teams

Six in ten chamber members are one-person companies. We build websites that work without a marketing department: clear services, simple enquiry or booking and content you can maintain yourself.

04

Legal notice under Austrian law

Austrian websites need information under the E-Commerce Act and the Commercial Code as well as a disclosure under the Media Act. We set up the structure for this.

05

Privacy-friendly implementation

We implement cookie banner, forms and tracking in a data-minimising way, taking into account the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act.

06

Fixed price & dedicated contact

Clear packages from €790 and personal support via video call, email or WhatsApp – whichever federal state you are in.

Built for enquiries from your region

Whether a joinery in Tyrol, a practice in Vienna or a tax advisor in Graz: visitors decide within seconds whether to get in touch. With 99.7% SMEs, Austria’s market is fragmented – whoever clearly shows what they offer and where wins against competitors without a good website.

A country of small businesses

Austria’s economy is carried by small and micro businesses. They gain the most from a good website – because online they can compete on equal terms with much larger providers.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with businesses in Austria even though you are not on site?

Yes. We support SMEs across Austria remotely via video call, email and WhatsApp, with one dedicated contact. Most projects do not require an on-site meeting.

How much does a website cost for an SME in Austria?

We work with fixed-price packages: One-pager from €790, Starter from €1,490, Business from €2,990 and Growth from €5,990. For sole traders the One-pager is often enough; for businesses with several services, Starter or Business.

Are there grants for a new website?

Depending on the federal state and timing, there are digitalisation grants from the federal government, the states or the Economic Chamber. Programmes and conditions change frequently – check the current offers with your regional chamber before starting the project.

Will the website run on a .at domain?

Yes. We set up the website on your .at domain or take over an existing one. Besides the domain, what matters most for Google is that address, services and language are clearly aimed at Austria.

Is the website compliant with GDPR and Austrian law?

We implement cookie banner, forms and tracking in a data-minimising way under GDPR and set up the legal notice under the E-Commerce Act and Media Act. Please have the legal texts checked by a professional.
